Screenings of Rangebow MicroFilm Festival Finalists

This event showcases local creative talent and introduce everyone to screen media professionals in our community.

Finalists of the best microfilms of 3-5 minutes duration on the festival theme Dream.Love.Live. will be screened and judged by the expert panel.

These awards are part of The Rangebow Festival in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, celebrating diversity, inclusion, sustainability and reconciliation.

The Rangebow MicroFilm shortish film fest invites entries in animation, documentary, narrative, and experimental short films focused on this year’s festival theme Dream.Love.Live.

Awards & Prizes

13 August 4pm-5pm

Films screened at The Rangebow Festival MicroFilm Festival Awards event will be the five shortlisted finalists selected and discussed by an expert panel (thanks Ruby Blue Casting, STUFFit, Sunshine Coast Screen Collective, and UniSC!).

Two prizes will be awarded:

$1,000 - Best in Fest
$250 - Best School Student Entry.
