Was, is, and always will be Jinibara country – walk today with a view to the past. Marvel at the sight of The Glass House Mountains and hear the legendary dreamtime story of Tibrogargan and his family.

This small group workshop will be presented by Jinibara Artist and dedicated father, BJ Murphy, a contemporary visual artist, curator and songman. BJ is dedicated to the continuation of his Jinibara culture drawing inspiration from his country in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, Queensland Australia.

A unique opportunity for every person to to yarn with a Jinibara culture man, ask questions, learn something new, be inspired to learn more about the world's oldest living culture.

Through his paintings, carvings, wood burnings, songs, and curatorial work BJ holds a deep responsibility to his culture and the representation of stories that have been passed down to him by his family.
