Rangebow Festival Launch

We officially launched the Festival last night with a massive bang at the Banana Bender!

The New Rangebow Festival 2022 officially launched last night with a massive bang at the Banana Bender. It was the party we were all waiting for, and we were able to introduce our festival characters and major partner Sunshine and Sons.

The Sunshine Sisters were first on stage and glammed it up strutting their stuff and the Volcanic Goddess got us all hot and clammy. Mr Zany, Mr Cane and Mr Barista were a huge hit and delighted all in attendance. We can’t wait to see you all up on the hill for The Rangebow Festival, the newest and largest festival to arrive in the Hinterland that celebrates diversity, inclusiveness, sustainability, creativity and reconciliation across the Blackall Range communities over 4 days.

We have over 30 diverse events with something for every-one; including the biggest Symphony Orchestra to ever perform on the range. We have Cabaret, Opera in the Church, Drag Pageants, Workshops Documentary In Conversations, Indigenous cuisine and more. Sunny Coast Family don’t miss out, see you all on the Hill from 10-13 August

Stay up to date

We acknowledge the Jinibara people and the Gubbi Gubbi people, the traditional custodians of the different areas of country on which The Rangebow Festival takes place and we pay our respects to indigenous elders, past, present and emerging.
